Hello and Welcome!
It is my hope that these blog posts will help others reach their goal of studying at the one of the world’s most prestigious business schools. If you would like more help, please check out Admission Consulting for consulting services.
David Hamilton (Co-Founder and President): After graduating with Honors at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, David set out to try to make a difference in the world. His search brought him to Eli Lilly & Co., an innovation based pharmaceutical company offering patient solutions in Diabetes, Oncology, and other therapeutic areas David cares about.
At Lilly, David most recently served as the Controller/CFO of Lilly’s multi-hundred million dollar clinical trial organization. He also was responsible for Strategic Planning of the $5B Research and Development organization. After six years at Lilly, David wanted to expand his impact by seeking an MBA. With Ginny’s editing help, David was accepted to three Ivy League Business Schools and ultimately chose to attend Harvard Business School.
David’s time at Lilly helped him discover a passion for mentoring and helping others. A passion that led him to start HBS Accept and hbsaccept.com. It is his hope that his insider knowledge of Harvard Business School and experience in the application process will help others reach their highest potential.
In his free time, David enjoys hiking, kayaking, and spending time with his daughter, Loralei, and wife, Jessica.
Ginny Stutz (Co- Founder and Chief Editor): Since first setting pen to paper the magic that is writing took hold, allowing Ginny to breathe life onto a blank page creating worlds that had only ever been able to live in her imagination. Little did she know those first few ink strokes would not only impact her own life, but enflame a passion for helping others find their own voices.
This mission encouraged Ginny in gaining a MA in English and a MA Certificate in Professional Editing from Indiana University. Armed with these degrees, she has been able to encourage students and show them that writing is not something to be feared, but rather something that can help them be heard. Working at both Marian University and Indiana University-Purdue University in Indianapolis she has taught English Composition as well as worked on several published anthologies over the writings of Ray Bradbury and George Santayana.
On those rare occasions she’s not battling Microsoft Word hunched over her laptop, Ginny enjoys spending time gardening and cooking. Nothing is more relaxing than whipping up something delicious and enjoying the scents rising from the oven.
